More Nature Drawings

I again looked back at my Japan photos and tried using ink and coloured pencil again. The ink is really good for natural mark making, and I think it’s very effective. Again I used the coloured pencil to make blind drawings over the top, and again I really like the detail it brings to the ink drawings, otherwise the ink can become kinda messy and hard to make out what the drawing is of. The colour also makes the drawing stand out, I will keep this in mind and maybe pick specific parts of the ink drawing to emphasise. I definitely want to do more mark making with ink. Perhaps I could also get a different colour ink, if I used brown it might give it more of a natural, earthly feel.
